Will everything be electrically driven in a few years’ time, or will the internal combustion engine survive? How will people be getting around in the future? Most experts agree that future challenges will be met with a mix of different technologies. Both e-mobility and internal combustion engines will play a role on the transport scene. More and more, we will be addressing CO 2-neutral fuels such as hydrogen, natural gas and synthetic fuels. These alternative fuels will have a major influence on the construction of internal combustion engines and present new challenges in terms of lubricants. For lubricant users, it will thus become increasingly difficult to get to grips with the jungle of new rules and norms. At MOTOREX, we don’t just see ourselves as lubricant manufacturers but as reliable partners who will help you to find your way through this jungle and advise you in all lubrication-related matters. To exemplify this trend, on page 10 we present to you the SAE 0W-generation low-viscosity motor oils, which have been developed for the latest engine types with CO 2 emission reduction in mind. These high-tech MOTOREX oils, together with other measures, will play a key role in meeting tomorrow’s more stringent emission requirements. The new, future-oriented “X-bottle” which we present on page 6 is a further sign that MOTOREX is fit for the future.
