Standing still is impossible on this planet of ours. We continually face new challenges, develop new ways of doing things and seek new answers. But is all this truly necessary? Do we really have to keep finding new ways of doing things? The article “X-ray vision of the future” on page 10 answers this question with an unequivocal “yes” as it reveals how the well-known Paul Scherrer Institute constantly breaks new ground. The SwissFEL (Free Electron Laser) is currently being built with the help of specialized companies. The facility will open the door to new scientific discoveries and bring a range of benefits to society as a whole. This major project also demonstrates how innovative solutions always involve interdisciplinary collaboration and depend on flexible and high-performing industry partners. “Panta rhei” – the world of lubrication is also in constant flux, and MOTOREX moves with the times here too. Our regional managers are a good example of how customer relations have developed over the years. “New things come, but good things remain.” Certain success factors seem to outlast all the changes and vicissitudes of the times. And this is true as much of research as of sales. The driving force is always the curiosity and passion for discovery and the joy and thrill of coming together to make things happen. We let these qualities drive us so we can always offer you, our valued customers, expert advice and the best possible products and services. And that will remain so in the future. I wish you every satisfaction and success in your daily work with our MOTOREX products!
